My name is Mackenzie Levine! I am 23 years old and a new comer to the CrossFit world. I train at Precision CrossFit with outstanding coaches and individuals.
I initially started CrossFit two years ago but in the process of training I severely injured my knee and had to take a break in order to fully recover. I was always told, “Success isn’t given. It is earned. On the track, on the field, in the gym. With blood, sweat and the occasional tear.” This value is the core of my determination to this day. I hope to inspire every person I encounter to never give up in the face of challenge and if they fall there is only one way to go… UP! The CrossFit community not only taught me this but proved it to be true.
The community inspires me to continue progressing and to never quit. I learned that everyone has their occasional bad day at the gym; just because I did not work with the heaviest weight or finish with the fastest time does not mean I have failed and do not measure up, it just means I have to continue to push forward. I ultimately strive for the opportunity to qualify for SoCal Regionals.
I want to show my fellow peers that anyone can be good enough. Especially for those who injure themselves and think that there is no feasible way to overcome, I am proof that there is hope. I want to inspire and encourage my peers to set new goals and to not stop once they are achieved!
