I am 23-years-old and a college student at Fresno State double majoring in Public Relations and Graphic Design with a certificate in Special Event Planning… aka I have no life My life consists of work, school, and Crossfit and I wouldn't want it any other way. For the past 14 years I have been a cheerleader and that is all I have known. Being a cheerleader and now a crossfitter has been a wild journey. A lot of people say that cheer isn't a sport and cheerleaders are not athletes. It feels amazing to finally be considered an athlete after countless hours of hard work. I owe a lot to my trainer/boyfriend for seeing potential in me and spending countless hours transforming myself to the crossfitter I am today. When I first started Crossfit over two years ago I weighed 115 pounds. Today I currently weigh 135lbs and I have never felt better. On a daily basis I strive for continuous improvement and challenge myself to be a better me. I have found my best friends and family at my Crossfit gym, New Era Crossfit. I don't know who I would be today without Crossfit. Goals: My strength in my legs has always been a issue. I hope to one day match the strength of my upper body to my lower body. My long term goal is to make it to the Nor Cal Regionals
